Reading OP’s linked article I learned a new word

> [@Dictionary](#):
>
> kay·fabe
> /ˈkāˌfāb/
> noun informal • US
>
> noun: **kayfabe**
> (in professional wrestling) the fact or convention of presenting staged performances as genuine or authentic.
> Example: “a masterful job of blending kayfabe and reality”

It immediately occurred to me that this was the word misspelled by Trump when he wrote
_“Despite the negative press covfefe,”_
Google shows that some others have noticed this connection, but SDMB has only one inconclusive mention:

> [@Dammit, covfefe means this...](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/dammit-covfefe-means-this/787775/17):
>
> I like that word. So similar to _kayfabe_.
