Two down, three to go! šŸ™‚ Yay for the new job for **FCD**! **Rosie** , I like your steps program for telling the parents - hah! Daughter and I went to the Farmerā€™s Market, the one more local to us, this afternoon. Itā€™s actually getting a lot more support this summer or so it appears, cause it was quite crowded. We got: a cantaloupe, a bunch of fresh scallions, green beans, yellow squash, some fresh baked goods (tea cakes, a choc. croissant), and some fresh peaches. Then I also got some tomatoes and a pint of blueberries! We made out quite good today, but boy were my legs hurting by the time we got home. I dunno if I"m going to make it in to work tomorrow or not. I did take my NSAID just a while ago, though, so maybe it will hold me enough. Whew! Itā€™s not **FIRDAY** yet, is it?! ---

Just felt the need to point out the Google ads at the bottom of the page that us freeloaders can see - the last three I saw were for a Furry meeting site, a podiatrist, and a store selling something called ā€œMedical Crocsā€. Only in the MMPā€¦ :D:D:D Sorry, the Google Ads just amuse me. I love watching them change along with the content of a thread. ---

I have a different kind of doctorā€™s appointment today. I have to see the Medical Director for an oral exam, which is the last hurdle to being able to work as an Intermediate EMT. Is ā€˜break a legā€™ appropriate for this? ---

Well, dammit, I mean six cents after taxes! I just wasnā€™t all there yesterday. Iā€™m still feeling tired today. Good luck with the oral exam, **Bobbio.** **Alistair,** the job, were I to get it, would be as a Supervisory Program and Management Analyst. Trust me, itā€™s not that exciting; four times the work, four times the responsibility, only five percent salary increase. Frankly, I donā€™t think Iā€™ll get it anyway, which doesnā€™t break my heart at all. I supposed I should force myself to work. I have tons to do, Iā€™m just not feeling overly motivated. ---

Iā€™m sitting killing time at the Allstate drive-in waiting to get an estimate. I find this somewhat frustrating as last week the agent told me I should go to my body shop of choice and get one. So after I already did, the claims adjuster tells me that I need to have one done by allstate. I used to work at a body shop so I understand why they would want to do their own. What I donā€™t understand is why the agent wouldnā€™t know that. :rolleyes: Oh well. How are the knees, **rosie**? ---

Have I mentioned lately how much I love all day meetings? Yep, nothing gives me more joy than sitting in a dark room, staring at something someone is doing on a projector, trying to figure out what the person on speakerphone is saying through all the interference, and arguing about stupid crap that should have been fixed when the issue first came up weeks and weeks and weeks ago.
