I thought of Cecil’s column on [human-skin lampshades](http://www.straightdope.com/columns/040604.html) when I was reading [this article](Did the Nazis make lampshades out of human skin?) on books bound in human skin. It’s called anthropodermic bibliopegy and is a fascinating topic. It seems i’m the first person to say the word “bibliopegy” on a board full of bibliophiles (=). I can think of threads started for worse reasons.
