Pro-choice here. I don’t see what the big deal is. Sounds relatively harmless as far as both the pro-choice and pro-life movements go. There’s plenty of wackjob extremists on both sides. Also, another vote against “anti-choice”. It’s every bit as stupid as calling pro-choice people “anti-life”, or calling Tea Party people “tea baggers”. It doesn’t do the person calling names any favors and is a red flag that they probably aren’t worth listening to. ---

Isn’t this exactly what those groups are seeking to do? They do _not_ want people to be able to choose. If they were purely anti-abortion then that would be an accurate label. But they aren’t. They don’t seek only to influence those in a position to choose, they want to change the law to remove the possibility of choosing in the first place…seems very clear then that they are anti-choice _as well as_ anti-abortion. As for pro-choice = anti-life, I agree that it would be stupid to make that equivalence as it is quite possible for pro-choice people to also be anti-abortion, but “anti-choice” people are exactly and precisely that. ---

I don’t think it’s always wrong to kill a human being, and neither do all but a small minority of pacifists on the planet. We may disagree which human beings it’s acceptable to kill, however, I will grant you that. You may think it’s okay to kill a human being if he’s threatening your home or family. I think it’s okay to kill a human being if his mother doesn’t wish to gestate him. And yes, lots and lots of inaccuracies - even setting aside camera tricks and ambiguous phrasing, there are straight out untruths, such as needing to crush a 12 week fetal skull for a vacuum extraction (you don’t, the canula is plenty wide enough to accommodate an intact 12 week fetal skull) Details like that were made up to make abortion seem more brutal and more distasteful - and this by people who claim to think it’s already brutal enough in reality to stop the practice. If they believe that, then why the need to embellish? Thirty seconds of googling will lead you to many more if you actually care to fight your ignorance on the matter. Here.. It’s included as part of expensive embryology and fetal/pregnancy learning kits, but stand alones seem to go from this [adorable 50 times larger than life 4 week embryo](http://www.anatomicalmodel.eu/human-embryo-4-weeks), to a [7-8 week replica](http://www.medexsupply.com/educational-products-simulators-fetal-simulators-nasco-human-fetus-replica-7-8-week-x_pid-60554.html) inconviently attached to its placenta, and then jump to 14 weeks or more. 10-12 weeks just isn’t terribly interesting from an OB standpoint. ---

I think he learned it when he was doing grad work at the “Victoria Jackson university of Smart and How Obama Is doing Bad Stuff and Getting Us Away From God and All Cuase He’s Like marxist and the Devil and Gays anD aLL”. Their teachings include that the best rebuttal to the 28 year old refutations of Silent Scream, for example, are to combine “marxist” and “nuh uh!” in a sentence, possibly while holding up a doll. ---
