# Anti-Homeless Benches with Armrests - Do they really prevent sleeping?

Yes, there’s a scanner at each intake desk or counter. That includes the pharmacy. Both also ask your DOB. For some things, the nurse that comes out to get you only asks your name. If you’re getting a procedure, you get a wrist tag and the nurse checks that.

Interesting, I’ve never seen that. For about the last two years I’ve volunteered to drive seniors and handicapped people to doctors appointments. In the cases where I escort them inside and get them checked in, it’s always just DOB and name.

I only have one Rx. I call it in and have it delivered by mail. No talking to anyone, just enter Rx number and phone number.

For my insurance, I didn’t even use my card. When I went in to the doctor, I had misplaced the packet that they sent me, so I didn’t have it with me.

They asked if I remembered the company it was with, and said they could look it up by social security number.

In England, many park benches have been removed. This is to stop young people congregating around them at night.

On a 5 miles walk, I came across no benches and at my age (well, with my bad leg) I could do with a sit down sometimes.
