You should do the usual sweep of Ad-Aware/Spybot, preferably in safe mode, to get the other crap out of the system. Erase any system restore points and clean out all temp data.
Well, I am not there anymore, but I’ll tell him about the adware thingy…I can give him the URL for Spybot (I don’t think he’s got that on his system). I had already gone through the start tasks in MSCONFIG as well as doing a registry scan and I THINK I got all the instances of that .dll out of the system. When I left Sunday everything seemed to be back to working fine at least.
