Yesterday it was Osama. 2000’s Ten years ago it was Saddam. 1990’s Twenty it was Ayatollah Khomeini 1980’s Before that mid to late 70’s it was Momar Khadafi Of course Yasser Arafat has been called the A/C through the 70’s 80’s and 90’s still today many consider him to be the antichrist Let’s see…before that the 60’s I think Kissinger was on the list of possibilities. Tomorrow, hmmm kinda doubtful about Osama or Saddam they just don’t seem to have the stuff. Besides it would be too obvious. How about Cardinal Lustiger? I haven’t heard much about him lately. He may be the next pope. Wouldn’t that be a kick…a jewish pope. He’s not 31 though. How old is Saddam’s remaining son Ali…15 or 16 hmmm, not old enough, yet. GWB not 31 either. Think I’ll make a list of near 31y.o. candidates for current anti-christ. Need a chart to do name \>number conversions. See which possibles also equal 666. See how easy that is. Back in the 1960s there was a famous American "seeress"called Jean Dixon who apparently made many accurate predictions, including the assassination of President Kennedy. She detailed a dream she had had in which the Antichrist would be born on, if I recall correctly, February 6 1962. ---

Maybe it’s allegorical… could they be referring to the generation born in the 60s and 70s and how their values and lifestyle have turned their back on the church? ---

Far as I’m aware muslims aren’t waiting for the antichrist. They think that Jesus will return and also that some other character (called the Mahdi) will show up. Jesus and the mahdi will both go to Mecca where Jesus will pray behind the mahdi as a sign that he is acknowledging islam as the true faith. (Hey I don’t write this stuff) However the mahdi will be 40 when he comes, islam is quite specific on this, so that rules out Osama. The last time muslims thought the mahdi had come was in 19th century Sudan when some guy lead a revolt and took over Khartoum (laying seige to General Gordon). _This_ mahdi proclaimed that once he had taken over the Sudan, he would go to Jerusalem to meet Jesus. He never got to Jerusalem though because he died not long after Gordon was killed. I think his skull was used as an ink pot for a while by some British officer as revenge for killing Gordon, before being finally buried in a muslim cemetary. ---
