I should say, “It seems pretty unlikely that anyone will actually want to put that amount of money and effort into restoring this particular plane to flying condition.” I could be wrong on that too…
They did try to make the B-36 all-jet later, with the XB-60, but it was still outclassed by the new B-52.
Wasn’t there also an American version of the Grand Slam bomb that was developped for the B-36 ?
The Tarzon was a radio-controlled development of the 12,000 lb TALLBOY. Delivered by B-29s, it saw some use in the Korean War, not very successfully.
