# Any Bulgarian speakers who can help with a translation please?

Hello, I need to send a letter from the UK to an address in Bulgaria. The address is of a small village residence in the Haskovo region of Bulgaria, Google Maps link [here](https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?saddr=42.104268,26.50208&hl=en&sll=42.104272,26.502087&sspn=0.003355,0.008256&t=h&mra=mift&mrsp=0&sz=18&z=18).

I have the address written on paper, but I don’t speak the language and am having trouble reading the Cyrillic script. I would be very grateful if someone could “translate” the handwriting so I can properly address the envelope. A photograph of the address is uploaded [here](http://i40.tinypic.com/2d0apv5.jpg).

All I know so far is that it is in:  
KNYAZHEVO  
HASKOVO  
BULGARIA

Russian speaker here, not Bulgarian.

s. (probably “selo” = “village”) Knyazhevo (the “zh” letter is weirdly written though)

obsch. (“obshina” = “municipality”) Topolovgrad

obl. (“oblast’” = “province”) Khaskovo

ul. (“ulitza” = street) Stefan Koradzha (if that is the same “zh” letter that is in the first line)

zip code: (“poch. kod”) 6566

You probably need this in Cyrillic:

с. Княжево  
общ. Тополовград  
обл. Хасково  
ул. “Стефан Караджа”, № 23  
поч. код 6566

On edit: that looks more like “Karadzha” than “Koradzha”.

I could ask for an answer, but it probably won’t be quick, but it looks like you’ll get it.

All I can offer now is my mad Wikipedia skills.

“A” sounds right, [after this guy](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stefan_Karadzha).
