One dispensary we used to go to had shakin Saturday where it was $40 an ounce for shake. It’s what they used for their pre-rolls which went for like $5 a gram. ---

Hehe, for awhile in OKC there was a dispensary that would give you an ounce of pre-rolled shake with any purchase. It was crazy in the early days there, I’m not sure it’s really calmed down yet. ---

Haven’t been around in awhile, might as well pick this thread to jump back in. I live adjacent to Ohio, my closest legal state (of mind, man!) and man are prices steep still yet. Their stupid tenths system is lame too, it robs you of a true eighth of flower and you get either a 2.83 or a 5.66 until you get to halves or whole ounces, which, IIRC, is the most flower you can buy in a single purchase? So, like 2.83’s are priced with the highest THC%ages usually, as they are advertised as “whole flower” and then you’d see their “smalls” in a half ounce or something of the same strain with a lowered THC content. A “good deal” here on some decent smoke for me is about $90/half. Currently its Alien Pebbles, a strain I’d never tried before but its become my go-to because of it being the best combo of reliable availability, potency and price. It just hits me different I suppose. Anyway, I have some stuff from a producer named Klutch Cannabis, its their Orange 43 strain and while it is glorious, its not worth the money they charge for it, so its a rare treat for me. $49 for a 2.83g of it! Its priced like it’s a drug or something! /s I am a mouth cancer survivor, and while my oncologist would be pleased to know that I have never once combusted anything and inhaled it since the procedure and treatment, don’t tell him I that I dry vape with a Mighty. Boy are these new devices and weed strains today a game changer. Anyway, happy to be trying to get back into the swing of things and commisserate with people to end this numbing loneliness I have within me. Cheerio! ---

You can get ounces of flower for $20 any day of the week. Too many growers got in on the action and the prices have plummeted. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen them sell shake…maybe they have to give it away here too? ---

Funny how things changed in just a few years. I remember when even mentioning “growing” felt like whispering a secret. Now I’ve got my medical card through Leafy DOC, which connects you to licensed doctors online, and I can actually talk about strains, dosage, and light cycles without feeling like I’m confessing a crime. The normalization has made the hobby side so much more enjoyable less paranoia, more precision. ---
