A German freelance photographer got aboard the wreck and took pictures: http://www.foxnews.com/travel/slideshow/2016/01/29/eerie-images-downed-costa-concordia/#/slide/costac1
Titanic much? But then, how many stylistic differences can there be between luxury cruise ships.
I’d missed the news that Capt. Schettino was convicted by an Italian court and sentenced to 16 years in prison: Francesco Schettino - Wikipedia. The case is now on appeal.
Not sure if there are more images here than in Elendil’s cite above, from the same photographer. Probably one of the last photos of the inside of the Concordia before its scuttling:
Certainly the most stunning.
You dont pump it out per se, you lift with a bunch of things like this
You can also place and inflate them at strategic locations inside the ship, creating both lifting force as well as displacing water.
If there are compartments that can be sealed that flooded due to watertight doors being left open and such you can seal them and pump them out a bunch of those below decks can be very helpful.

Rick’s comment was from 4 years ago. The ship was floated with external flotation tanks then towed away a year and a half ago. It’s presently being chopped up for scrap in a mainland shipyard.
