I’m trying to find some interesting new subreddits and I wondered if anyone here would recommend some. I asked [askreddit](http://www.reddit.com/r/AskReddit/comments/11s2sd/what_are_your_favorite_lesserknown_subreddits/), but the response was mixed. ---

askscience and askhistorians are very well done. Askscience is my new favorite place to ask and read science questions because the mods will delete anecdata, laymen speculation, etc. ---

AskHistorians is great. I also like a lot of the “stories from work” subreddits, here are my favorites: [http://www.reddit.com/r/talesfromtechsupport/](http://www.reddit.com/r/talesfromtechsupport/) > **[r/TalesFromRetail](https://www.reddit.com/r/TalesFromRetail/)** > > r/TalesFromRetail: A place to exchange stories about your daily experiences in brick & mortar retail. > **[r/TalesFromYourServer](https://www.reddit.com/r/TalesFromYourServer)** > > r/TalesFromYourServer: > **[r/talesfromcallcenters](https://www.reddit.com/r/TalesFromCallCenters)** > > r/talesfromcallcenters: \*\*Welcome to Tales From Call Centers (TFCC), a place where we share tales from the trenches of the call center world!\*\* This … If you can stand the rage comic format and are in tech support, you might also like [http://www.reddit.com/r/iiiiiiitttttttttttt/](http://www.reddit.com/r/iiiiiiitttttttttttt/) ---
