[Summerfest](http://www.summerfest.com/home.php) is billed as one of the biggest and best live music festivals in the world.
Happens once a year for ten days starting today. Takes place on Milwaukees lake front (Lake Michigan) and features street performers, magicians, comedians and the usual headliners.
[Here](http://www.summerfest.com/entertainment/artists/alpha.php) is an alphabetical list of the booked artists.
New this year…bar coded tickets will be given out for free general admission lawn seats to select shows. Gone are the days of the easy-to-wash-off-and-ruining-your-night hand stamp.

Headliners

Peter Gabriel with Severa Nazarkhan
Jack Johnson and Ben Harper and The Innocent Criminals with special guest DJ Greyboy
Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers with Bo Diddley
Fleetwood Mac
Foo Fighters with Pete Yorn
The Dead with Willie Nelson & Family
Toby Keith with special guest Blake Shelton
BoDeans with Guster
Santana with Angelique Kidjo
Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban and Deana Carter
Good Charlotte with Hoobastank

Anyone plan on going?

I will be there all day tomorrow. SteveWinwood, RA, and Default are playing at the smaller stages.

I’ll be there Thursday for Fountains Of Wayne and Wilco.

Also gone are the days when you could get stamped out and come back whenever. If you’re not back by 6:00 you have to pay admission to get back in.
