# Any experience with B&N Portable Professor Series?

Does anyone around here have any experience or can speak to the “Portable Professor” series as introductory material for general study?

It looks interesting, but $40 is a lot to spend on a speculative purchase.

I haven’t tried any myself, but some of them are available at audible.com along with customer reviews.

I bought the Shakespeare course by Harold Bloom, but haven’t had a chance to listen to it yet. I’m on vacation for the next week and a half, and should be able to give you my opinion by the end of vacation.
