# Any Fallen London players?

I searched the Game Room archives, and couldn’t find any mention of it. If I missed something, please forgive me.
I’ve been playing the browser game ‘Fallen London’ for a little over a year now, and I really love it. I am, however, reaching the point from which further progress will really only be possible by either creating alts or connecting with other players.
The Failbetter community is a good hook-up place for the later, but I’m wondering if there are any fellow Dopers in the game that would like to form some mutually beneficial trade agreements?

Depends how long and what you’d consider ‘new’. I never kept up with what had just been added and what hadn’t, so when I ran into new stuff, I had no idea if it was just ‘new to me’, as it were. Still can’t go ‘NORTH’, which bugs me, but I’m looking for ‘The Name’ currently… Which I know is pure masochism.

I’ve played on and off - I tend to rediscover it, keep a browser window with it around for a week or so, and then lose track of it for months. It’s a cool game, but the intermittent play is frustrating to me.

An update to my previous. I’ve found myself playing more consistently, and as I get further in, I’m finding it more engaging. There are so very many stories here… and so many ways to get into trouble.
I let my Scandal get out of control and wound up spending some time in the Tomb-Colonies for my sins. That was rather entertaining, actually.

I played this quite a bit and enjoyed it, but once I hit VIP status and saw the endless plains of grind open up in front of me I gave up and haven’t logged in since. Might check out Sunless Sea once that’s done, who knows.

I’m intrigued by the Game of Knife and Candle, but have a lack of people to play against, or with. I have a surfeit of tokens, so if anyone would care for an invitation, I can oblige.
