I remember Soap in Syndication when I was a wee lad (about 6?). Anyway, I loved it! I would love to see it again after all these years. Interestingly, Richard Mulligan was only 67 when he died. Likewise, most of the rest of the cast are still alive. I could have sworn Robert Guillaume died recently. Very happy to see I’m wrong. ---

OK, that’s weird. I guess I need to be signed up to the DVD service in order to see the whole library. Even though all I have is the streaming service, it will usually tell me if they have a movie I’m looking for in DVD format. (That isn’t offered in streaming.) ---

One storyline was weird in the 70s but is very 21st-cetury: Billy’s affair with his teacher. Then he broke up with her and she went crazy. At one point she showed up to the Tate house wearing a dynamite vest. They manage to get it off her and throw it into the kitchen. Benson announces: “If anyone’s hungry, dinner is in the oven. The oven is in the swimming pool.” ---
