# Any figures on the percentage of gay folks in any given population?

Not so sure about this… I am a non-homophobic heterosexual (God these PC terms are painful, so stuff it, I’m a straight guy who’s got no problem with poofs) living in Sydney. Sydney has one of the biggest gay scenes in the world after SF. I’ve been to gay pubs with friends, and have _never_ been made to feel uncomfortable in them. However, the two times in my life I have been approached for sex by men occurred in the rough mining town I lived in for a while. Both guys were very straight acting. In other words, what I’m trying to say is that I’d not be so sure about Wyoming or Montana.
