# Any gigs going on mid-Julyabouts?

I’m scheduled to go to a wedding in Austin, TX mid-July of this year. I figure if I plan things right, or just wing it and try my luck, I may be able to swing by a cool festival in some city somewhere on the way. I’d love to check out Bonnaroo -I hear Zeppelin’s headlining- but the Bridge & Groom to be decided to shack up the month _after_ the traditional wedding period. What is this crap? I don’t know for certain where I’ll be living then but I can probably guess I’ll be coming from someplace relatively north of Austin on my way down, or maybe swing around a detour. Anyone know of anything cool going on? I think Pitchfork or Summerfest might be going on then but don’t know enough about either. Maybe Matisyahu might be doing a one-night in Brooklyn or something; that’d be a good excuse to see New York. Travel distance/cost isn’t really much of a factor at all: I’m feeling pretty good that somehow, some way, I’ll make it where I need to go. So where are all the hip kids congregating at these days?
