# Any good insect ID sites?

I’m having a devil of time identifying an insect I found yesterday. I’ve searched lots of ID sites, but to no avail. Does anyone know of a good, easy to use site that can help me close in on this guy? (I don’t know how to include a link to a picture of it) It was a lacewing fly, brownish wings (about 1.25 cm) folded flat over the back. It had very long thin legs (about 4.5 cm) splayed out flat. Green eyes. Long proboscis, longer necklace-like antennae. How do I key this thing out?
