Meh. He whines that his pop-culture icons (Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin) are dead. In the second movie, he whines about losing his mojo. Then in part 3, he whines about how “daddy wasn’t there”.
Basically, he’s every baby boomer who’s starting to get old and blames his problems on his parents.
