# Any Harpoon Players here?

I just bought the ‘Commanders Edition’ and would be interested in some multiplayer games.
I bought the very first version of this years ago, and even though I loved it, it dove me nuts. It was so buggy it would almost always crash before I could finish a game.

I used to play that game - I didn’t realize it was still around. Is there a new version or is it \>10 years old?

According to the Matrix Games website – the newest upgrade was released in 2008. And the are a couple of different versions, one that mimcs military ones and one that is a more playable “civilian” version released in 2007.

I had the first edition, almost 20 years ago now, too. Awesome game, but needed so much micro-management at times. I never found it buggy though.

My father bought a copy of it many years ago. I could never get into it although he played it a decent bit. I preferred 688 Attack Sub.
