Looking for some fantasy baseball help. Our keeper league is AL only so the entire roster is available for our upcoming draft. I know nothing!!!

Who are the top 10 fantasy players on their roster… in order if it’s not too much trouble?

We are a classic 4x4 league.

TIA !!

Jose Altuve, 2B is probably the only guy you actively want. He’ll get you a decent average and a lot of stolen bases.

1B/LF Chris Carter will probably get you some home runs.

C Jason Castro probably won’t be terrible.

If it’s a keeper league, can you draft prospects? If so, Jonathan Singleton is their best hitting prospect and is probably going to be up sometime this season; he’s probably worth picking up if you can keep him on a farm team or something.

P Bud Norris will get you a bunch of strikeouts but might also have a crappy ERA; it depends on if/how far he bounces back from last year. Of their other pitchers, Brad Peacock seems to have struck out people at a decent clip in the minors and might be worth a flyer (or might blow up on you completely; he had a 6 ERA in AAA last year). The rest of the pitchers aren’t going to get you a lot of strikeouts and are a pretty uncertain group in general. I don’t even know who the nominal closer is to start the year, but I wouldn’t expect whoever it is to hold the job for long.

Top pitching prospect is Jarred Cosart; he’s also expected to be up sometime this year.

Thanks! We had our draft yesterday… Altuve, Carter and Veras were the only players anybody wanted.

Interesting that I don’t see Jarred Cosart listed yet as a placed in the ESPN player universe
