Time takes its toll on all and on mods in particular, but I do miss having some of the former ones around. So do we know how they’re doing now? People like **Dex** , **TubaDiva** , **Marley** , etc? I know that **Lyn** sadly passed away but I’m hoping that with the others no news is good news. ---

**TubaDiva** is still semi-active. She was logged into the message boards yesterday but didn’t post. And I believe she edits Cecil’s columns when corrections need to be made and still handles Threadspotting. ---

I think **Marley** got married and his job busier. So life happened. And I think **Dex** left to go spend more time with his family and grandkids. ---

**Marley** and **Rico** still participate in the mod loop but don’t do on-board moderating. **bibliophage** , **Ukelele Ike** , **Spectre of Pithecanthropus** , and **Jillgat** are all active posters or have at least posted recently. ---

BTW, on the subject of former moderators, it can be rather confusing when zombie threads arise to see members who were moderators at the time not marked as such in their posts. [See this 2008 post by **Giraffe**](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showpost.php?p=10187515&postcount=11) in which he clearly is a moderator but is marked only as a Charter Member. It’s no big deal but as I say could be a little confusing. Let me guess, the constraints of vBulletin. 🙂 ---
