There’s plenty of food available at the Brickskeller, although most of it from the expected pub-food genus. The onion rings, I have to say, are dreadful, but most everything else isn’t bad. (And about a month ago I had a surprisingly great burger there.) –Cliffy ---

Maybe I should clarify: I wasn’t asking whether the Brickskellar offers dinner, but whether our _gathering_ is going to be a dinner thing. I can’t be there, but just to jump in on this onion ring debate, I say the Brickskeller has some of the worst bar food that DC has to offer. Fried items are generally soggy and too often cold. For some reason, I can’t recall that they even toast the buns with the burgers, and the buffalo burger is generally drier than the salt flats. The beer selection is, however, fantastic. ---
