I celebrate my one year anniversary of living in Chicago on April 16. Any interest in another dopefest this spring? I’d strongly prefer any Friday or Saturday from mid April until the week before Memorial Day. I’d also need a place that is accessible by CTA. Ideally, I like a place where you can order drinks and has food available. We’ve done Galway Arms in Lincoln Park the past two times. That location is perfect for me, but I understand it is a pain for those who drive. ---

Potentially, yes. Although I’ve been embarrassed by unexpected family emergencies preventing my attending the last couple (the problems of a 92-year-old mother-in-law who’s a hypochondriac.) ---

Last time I was there (a few years ago) it was nothing but skinheads and punks on one side of the room, and cops on the other. Quite the eclectic ambiance! ---

There are two pay lots within a block of the Galway - at the Lincoln Park Market and at the Children’s hospital. ---

D’Agostino’s in Lakeview is a fine casual place with nice red checkered tablecloths and decent pizza. If memory serves, it’s at Addison and Southport. ---
