I think that most people here realize that a paintball didn’t literally take a mans head off. It still hit him hard enough that he had to quit for awhile and get it looked at. The point remains the same. I would not want to get hit without at least a layer of clothing for protection. ---

Sheesh, I’ve been hit directly on the nipple and even that only hurt for a few days. I’ve also been hit on the neck. Head’s still well-attached last I checked. I’ve gotten hits on bare flesh (arms) and the pain isn’t significantly worse than with clothes. I’d let someone shoot me in the ass for $1000 if I didn’t have to get naked or be groped and I wore a face mask. After all, I _pay_ money to let people shoot me on the fields. ---

If women would pay $1K to shoot me in my old, sagging, naked butt, I’d sign up in a minute. Lower prices are negotiable. I would ask for some sort of protection for the front parts, though—as old and ugly as they are, I like 'em enough to want to keep 'em. ---

In a word, yes. Pain is fleeting…money is less so. (For me, anyway.) I’ve taken some pretty hard falls and some pretty big bruises; I doubt a paintball would faze me for more than a day or two. But ditto on the not-getting-naked-or-groped thing; might as well be a stripper for all that. ---

I play paintball a lot. I play twice a week, and the worst mark that I have had was a scab. The field I usally play at has a 280fps limit. When I play a tournament the gun must clock in below 280-285 and below 300 coming off. Getting hit by a paintball is a lot like getting snapped with a towel. It stings for a few seconds, and then you don’t feel anything. In fact I mostly wear t-shirts to play. While you can get bleeding welts most often is a couple of drops not a flow. When playing tournaments or with experienced paintballers about the worst thing that you can have happen to you is “bunkering”. Bunkering is when a man literally comes around your bunker and shoots you point blank. This stings a little more then your average hit and can break the skin. I talked to the local field owner and he said the worst injury he has had at his field was a twisted knee. I personally believe that paintball is one of the least painful sports you can play. In baseball I played catcher and always had bruises and marks on my body from wild pitches. In football kids would break bones and pull muscles. Wrestling was about the same as football injury wise. ---

Well, yeah, but you weren’t running around stark freakin’ naked, nothin’ on but shoes, and trusting in some vapor-brained redneck not to shoot you in the eye or the nipple, now, were you? …and it’s beginning to look more and more like a hoax. The company was licensed in Nevada to sell a VIDEO, ostensibly a “Hunting For Bambi” video featuring naked chicks running around in the chaparral, that’s all. Nothing any worse than those “Girls Gone Wild” or “Spring Break” videos you can buy right now. The news story was apparently a hoax, intended to get free publicity for a nekkid chick video, that’s all. Although the owner of this video outfit – apparently the same jerk from the news story – has speculated that due to the public interest in the enterprise, he might well consider taking on a few charters for real hunts… ---

I dunno. I, too, am an avid paintballer and I the hell wouldn’t want to be hit in any sensitive bits. I’ve been shot pretty much all over but always with full gear on. A simple bum hit (not ‘in the ass’) wouldn’t hurt as much as being hit in the nipple so for $1K US, I might do it 😃 Of course the 3 shot rule must apply! ---

Another guy here, and I think I’d do it. According to the article I read, the guns are not high powered (or would not be if this has never actually happened). I may think slowly, but I don’t run that way, and I’m also skinny. Protection front, and from bulls eyes! would be a must. Can’t imagine any women paying that kind of money for for a fleeting glimpse of my fast vanishing a$$, though. ---
