# Any meaning to Joe Walsh' "The smoker you drink, the player you get."

I used to think this was some kind of a play on words and if one substituted a few words and then rearranged them one would arrive at a perfectly non-nonsensical statement.

'Course I never did figure it out.

Any ideas what this might mean or is it just the sort of meaningless utterance a drunk might make?

The latter, IMHO.
