I am a devoted Attenborough fan going back to the 70s. It’s very difficult for me to fully enjoy any natural world documentaries that are not hosted/narrated by him.

But since he’s only two years away from his 100th birthday, and therefore the most we could possibly hope for is another three or four years, perhaps, I am thirsty for whatever he is doing and I am very much hoping that he’s pumping out as much as possible with an eye to the fact that he will not be with us much longer.

I know he’s done more for the BBC but I haven’t heard any word of anything coming over here does anyone else know?

(If you are an Attenborough fan, you must add to your admiration, if you did not know already, the fact that he is responsible for bringing us Monty Python’s Flying Circus when he was the “suit” in charge at the BBC.)

I think it’s safe to say he has a sense of humor.

Sorry, “humour”.

it’s being released on Hulu, Disney+ and National Geographic later this year–but the exact date hasn’t been announced.

But Wow! Still doing nature documentaries at almost 100 years old!

Thanks for the heads-up on “Ocean”. I hadn’t seen any previews for this since I don’t watch Nat Geo on a regular basis.

Oh, like many BBC shows all “Kingdom” is available now. Dunno how it’s presented in the US, yet ep1 has a cliffhanger ending. Tomorrow, I guess.

Remember David will be turning 100 on May 8.

New documentary coming out:

> In 1976, Sir David Attenborough embarked on an ambitious three-year global odyssey to film _Life on Earth_, an innovative documentary of unprecedented scale. Attenborough and his team traveled to 40 countries to document over 600 species and faced extraordinary challenges along the way, including a coup in the Comoros, gunshots in Rwanda, and threats from Saddam Hussein’s army in Iraq. Written and presented by Attenborough, _Life on Earth_ set out to “tell the greatest story in all the world”: how life on our planet evolved.
>
> Fifty years after production began, and in celebration of Attenborough’s 100th birthday, **LIFE ON EARTH: ATTENBOROUGH’S GREATEST ADVENTURE** offers rare, behind-the-scenes insight into the making of the groundbreaking series. Featuring exclusive interviews with Attenborough and his original crew, the special captures the triumphs and setbacks of filming the series during a pivotal era in television history, when jet travel and color filming were relatively new
