# Any news on a new David Foster Wallace gargantua?

any true geeks need info on Infinte Jest ive studied the thing to death.;j

something about a happy orthodox jewish man icon just seems apropos in my life right now. altho i am not jewish, orthodox or happy

As an actual happy Jewish man :j I think I’ll chime in and say, last thing I saw published by Wallace was that essay in Rolling Stone following 9/11. No idea about anything else.

I’m in the middle of Infinite Jest right now. Since I have no leisure time for reading, I expect to be with that thing for a long time. But I’m enjoying it immensely.

There is actually a [davidfosterwallace.com](http://davidfosterwallace.com), but it looks like it hasn’t been updated in some time.

If you’re desperate for something to tide you over, I did a DFW parody in ‘What if The Lord of the Rings were written by somebody else’ thread; page 28, I think.
