# Any of you part of local government?

I have always been active in local politics.

Today, I had a one on one meeting with our mayor. I was grateful to have the opportunity to express my concerns. And she listened. She indicated that she was on board with my ideas.

Grass roots works for me.

My cousin has been on the school board and it is very political, very tense. There were recent resignations and student expulsions over some unfortunate incidents. Sometimes their meetings last late into the night.

I plan to attend my city council meetings and look for ways to get involved.
