A friend of mine’s mom was good pals with both Leonard Bernstein and Rod Serling. And I hear she dated Eumeces anthracinus, but I think she’s just indulging in wishful thinking there. ---

Like others here, I am quite well known within my (tiny) chosen profession. But I believe I hold the record in [this thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=207474&perpage=50&highlight=celebrities&pagenumber=3) for the number of celebrities met, even if you cut out some of the more obscure–if prominent in their field–people on my list. ---
