# Any other nations (then the USA) have sovern nations inside them?

Oh and my understanding ( possibly flawed ) is that “Muslim” is closer to the preferred pronunciation of the word, which is why it is now the standard.

Correct, a standard English pron. of Muslim gets one quite close to the Arabic, if not identical, while Moslem is … not.
