# Any Phillips representatives in the house?

Hi all,  
I have a lighting issue that hopefully someone can help with me. The room I have moved into has two track-lighting fixtures with two spotlights on each of them.

Sometime ago I was forced to trade-out the floodlight type bulbs for dimmable flourescent ones (supposedly=to a 100w bulb) due to the _enormous_ amount of heat they produced. I have enough electronics to make heat in this room and when this happens I turn a fan on to push the hot air through the open inside door until it is cool enough again.

The criteria is that this lighting must be:

1)bright!!

2)dimmable

3)cool operating

…finding higher voltages has been difficult since I am looking for the dimming feature- I have looked around online and looking into LEDs and possibly adding more in track fixtures… I’m exhausted searching someone else do the work for me now 😛 Thanks in advance everyone.

Sorry to nitpick, but I think it’s [Philips](http://www.nam.lighting.philips.com/us/) you want, not Phillips.

Go to a lighting distributor, and look for dimmable fluorescent track fixtures. Off the TOMH, I don’t recall any, but you might get lucky. Don’t expect them to be cheap.
