Judging by the majority of the responses, I’m thinking that it’s not really a popular idea. That’s fine though, as I said in the OP, I could go either way. My honest assessment of how it was done last year was that it was a good idea with some mistakes. It was left up for _way_ too long, for example. However, I don’t want people getting stabby like they do whenever avatars are mentioned, so I rescind the suggestion. ETA: I’m against avatars, but I think people took the debate regarding them to ridiculous proportions and I hope we never do anything like that again. ---

No, sorry, there are no plans to revive the forum called Boo! that was devoted to Halloween and related matters. It’s dead, it’s dust from the past, there’s no way to bring it back short of some … oh, I don’t know, zombie-raising spell beyond the ken of modern science.\* - And such things are only superstition, of course. ---
