I don’t have a request though I do want to give you props for singing. I cannot sing to save my life and hearing my own recorded voice is just painful. It takes guts to do that.

The ice cream truck that goes down our street plays some freaky-ass tune I’ve never heard anyone else. And then it stops in the middle and shouts out “Hello!”

Funny what you said about the Smiths song, I find I can play a Smiths song, or sing it, but not both at the same time. Because of (as you say) the weird phrasing. Do you not have any multitracking technology?

I’ll just post the songs for now and reply to people later. I think I figured out a way to turn up the recording volume, so I don’t think you’ll need to turn up the volume as much.

I’m not familiar with this one either, but the preview had the second verse and the chorus. The first time I recorded it I did it straight and it came out kind of boring, so I recorded it again while singing with a really nasal voice and a bit of a twang.

I just listened again to my recording of Fernando and realized I accidentally turned it into a dirge. It’s kind of disturbing.
**Snooooopy** , that’s a weird story about Al Jardine. You’d think that an extra hundred bucks would be nothing to him. It’s funny in a way.

He wasn’t inclined to give me anything at all until I asked him if he was a Beach Boy. I was honestly asking just out of curiosity, but he appeared to think that I was implying that a Beach Boy oughta be able to cough up a few bucks.
The first time I contacted him, he agreed to the $175 contribution, but wasn’t anywhere near his credit cards. By the time I talked to him again, his wife talked him down to $75.
