Are there any similar applications? I’d love to drag a map of Ireland across a map of the globe to see the relative size of different countries and territories. ---

Even cooler, drag the US map until Florida overlays Italy, and the Gulf Coast lines up with the Mediterranian coast. Europe is essentially “The South,” and Spaniards are really Texans, or is it Texans are really Spaniards? Wait, the languages are almost the same. Naples Italy and Naples Florida are in similar places. Ohhh, freaky. Hey look, New Orleans is French. This is fun. Shark ---

They do omit the entire eastern portion of Europe, however.
