Pretty much the whole first half of Massive Attack’s _Mezzanine_. I had a female friend one time, about two songs in, ask me to turn off “that fuck music”, so its power is deep. Of course, I would have felt much better if she had said turn it up; oh, well. ---

What’s **cliched** (leaving out the inconvenient accent) is the phenomenon of people thinking that song is sexy. It’s about someone so incredibly alienated from their own humanity that they use the physical sensations of touching another person while having sex as their only means of feeling any human connection. ---
