# Any Tamoxifen Users?  Past/Present?

I wondered if anyone out there is on or has been on Tamoxifen? The reason I ask is I found out at the Dr. yesterday that I have gained 10 lbs. in 6 mos. Now, I am not looking for a scapegoat for this weight gain. I know I am to blame, too. But, I have been working out and (generally) been watching what I eat. The Dr. claims that the Tamoxifen/weight gain theory hasn’t been proven, so, please no links to studies. I have read all of them and they all claim that Tamoxifen doesn’t cause weight gain. However, my Dr. did claim that Tamoxifen works like birth control pills (in essence), and I gained weight when I was on the pill (15 lbs.).

I am just looking for real-life people and their experiences with Tamoxifen. Thanks!
