# Any video footage of the plane crashing into the Pentagon on 911?

I remember that someone filmed at least the approach, which was from the direction of the capital mall, but I think the impact was obscured by buildings or something in the video that I saw. I saw it on 9/11 on a major news network, and haven’t seen it since, so my memory is not too good.

I think there were photos published ot the plane impacting the Pentagon, taken from an ATM, or parking lot security camera. They were not nearly as clear as the WTC pictures, because the cameras were not trained on the building itself, rather the impact could be seen in the background of the photos. I am trying to find a link…

Longmos- I think that site should have somewhere, “can you explain how an airplane was seen to fly into a building, yet I have this entire site asking silly questions saying that somehow it never did?.” 😛 I also find it funny that he never mentions that the wing of the pentagon that was struck had just recently been reinforced to withstand a bomb blast. Conspiracy theorists always show only one side of the story. Funny how the page never mentions the airplane that vanished of off AC radar scopes in the vicinity of Washinton. That site is very silly. I’ve seen sites that more credibly state that the White House is controlled by Satan. …Though lately I’m beginning to wonder. :dubious:

I love how these wacko sites always make at least one really, really ignorant, obvious mistake (like the moon hoaxers asking why the flag is waving). On [no.4](http://geo.mff.cuni.cz/students/toman/pentagon/), they’re building a temporary causeway to move in heavy equipment, you morons!

What, you actually saw video footage of the first plane crashing WTC? The second one, sure, but nobody pointed their cameras up there until after the first impact. Remember, before the second plane, there was much confusion about what had happened with the first one (It was presumed to be an accident, like when the army plane hit the Empire State Building in the 30s).
As for the Pentagon… I live pretty close to it and was home during the attack. I swear I heard the plane pass over and explode, but didn’t see it. But hey, I could be easily gulled. Uri Geller would have a great time bending my keys. Still, what’s the alternate theory, that someone drove a truck with explosives up? Look at the photos again. There is parking access on four sides of the building where you could conceivably drive a truck up to the wall, but nt on the side where the explosion actually happened. Multiple barriers make a truck attack on that wall difficult. There was less damage because unlike the WTC, the Pentagon is a short building (Only 5 stories high) and there are huge gaps between the outer and inner rings.
Why didn’t the plane’s wings take out a bigger swath of the wall? They broke off. Many passenger planes use the wings as supplemental tanks; they are hollow and light and combust quickly. Why did they sand the lawn? Fire and other trucks were getting stuck in the turf; sand makes the terrain more navigable.
Why would they say it was a plane when it was a truck? I don’t see who benefits from this particular conspiracy. Sorry, I just don’t see it.

Nope. The 1st impact was filmed by the French brothers doing the firefighter documentary. It was on TV last year.

Since I don’t have bionic eyes, I couldn’t see a plane coming in after watching the CNN footage repeatedly. Sorry.
