The ads are becoming really really annoying, occasionally making it impossible to post. I am ready to join, but I am really not ready to join pay pal. Any other way? ---

You should be able to pay by credit or debit card without joining PayPal. My account has been frozen for something like 6 years but I’m still able to pay for my membership and custom title. ---

PayPal keeps changing the screens around and sometimes the option can be difficult to find, but it should be possible to pay using a credit card without signing up for a PayPal account. Some users have reported different screen layouts with different browsers, so using a different browser might enable you to find the credit card option more easily. ---

Yes, just choose the PayPal option and then on a later screen you will have the option to pay with a credit card without using PayPal. That’s what I did. ---

And I just renewed from Canada\* without needing a Paypal account, although as **ecg** said, the screens have changed. Pay close attention to the screens; the “No thanks” (or similar; I may be misremembering) button was very non-obvious to me. \*I mention my location because I seem to recall some non-Americans had problems in the past (and may still). ETA In case it is also browser dependent, I used Firefox 54.0 on Linux. ---

I renew mine from Australia via cc (no paypal) without issues, but cannot remember quite how I did it last time. ---
