WM 33 is next year. The match has been announced. Shaq and Show briefly went at it in the battle royale back in April. ---

Ryback couldn’t pull off consistent promos. Hell, he’d stop and repeat himself to be able to move forward, like a child memorizing bible verses. He was upper-midcard enhancement talent and that’s all he was ever going to be. He should have been content with the pay and the every couple of years title push. Of course, this is the guy stupid enough to try to call out Bryan Danielson as a “bully” because he got ribbed, on Table for 3. Jesus Christ Ryback, every episode was funny old wrestling stories, jokes and tales of epic ribs, except yours. You had to call one of the most beloved faces of your era a bully for ribbing you. :smack: ---

I always enjoyed Ryback, so I’ll actually miss him. But oh well. So Ms. Cups and I went to the Tampa comic-con. I wore a Captain America shirt and she, not being a huge nerd, didn’t know what to wear. So she opted with her Balor Club shirt. She got more attention than she bargained for methinks. But that’s not all. We found a guy who was painted up Balor style (well, Devitt to be exact) but she took a picture with him and tweeted it to Finn. An hour or so later she gets the notification that Finn himself liked her tweet. Needless to say she was (and still is) in heaven. ---

Frankly, there’s no real indication that it was Finn who liked it. I mean, it came from his account, but he (or WWE) could have people who do that for him. But regardless, it totes happened I swear. Also, Shelton Benjaman tore his rotator cuff. Well, that was a short comeback. ---

I know you guys are all pretty jealous of where I live and my access to WWE/NXT and such. I also know your constant thoughts of “Well, going to a Takeover is fine and all…and I guess seeing a PPV is decent too, but, come on, when are you seeing the REAL stuff? When are you seeing TNA?” Well prepare to be jealous again. TNA is doing some tapings this weekend and early next week at Universal, and I FINALLY don’t have plans. So Broken Matt Hardy and Brother Nero here I come! (also should be interesting because I literally know no one in TNA that isn’t them) ---

Next Friday, I’ll be in Vegas, at the ROH/New Japan “Death Before Dishonor” PPV. They haven’t announced the full card, but the main event is Jay Lethal defending the world title against Adam Cole (representing Bullet Club), with the Addiction defending the tag titles in a triple threat match, Bobby Fish defending the TV title against Silas Young and IWGP world champion Kazuchika Okada fighting Dalton Castle. I’ll also be at the TV taping in the same venue the next night. I’ll be in the second row for the PPV and front row for the taping, and I’ll probably have my Sheamus mask and Glow-Worm in case anyone happens to be watching. ---

Glow Worm? I’m afraid to ask. The action on RAM was pretty lackluster, aside from the Cesaro-Sheamus match. Those guys really stepped it up. Otherwise, everything was SummerSlam buildup. Roman Reigns is no longer annoying. He and Rusev play well off each other. I am looking forward to the Rollin-Balor match. They’re really digging into the Celtic myth aspect of Finn’s character. As long as Finn doesn’t meet three crones who trick him into violating his geas, he should be OK. ---

Drew Galloway (ex-WWE, whose presence in TNA is robbing us of a 3-Man-Band reunion) and Ethan Carter III (ex-NXT Derrek Bateman) are involved in an upper-midcard feud. Gail Kim and Maria (both spent some time in WWE) are involved in a feud that is unlikely to have a good payoff since Maria isn’t actually a wrestler. If you’re terribly unlucky you’ll have to sit through a segment involving them, Dixie Carter, and Billy Corrigan from the Smashing Pumpkins, who is a minority owner and shows up on occasion. ---

Although I say that, and I have no doubts that, even though we’ve never watched a show, Ms. Cups will somehow know every person who walks out and their wrestling history.
