IMO, if this is true, WWE needs to fire Bray right now. Neglecting your parental (and legal) duties in order to lavish gifts on your new side-piece (miniature horses? REALLY?) is morally reprehensible, and the fact that he’s doing it on Vince’s dime taints WWE by association. They don’t need that kind of bad news associated with them, and honestly, it’s been so long since they’ve had an original booking ideas for Bray that I doubt anyone would miss him. There are some public misdeeds that being the booker’s kid shouldn’t immunize you from. ---

Sounds like Bray is travelling down Ric Flair’s and Jerry Lawler’s path. It’s rare for wrestlers to stay monogamous. I think King Kong Bundy was married 5 times. These guys tour 80% of the year away from their families and give in to temptation on the road. If history is any indication, Jojo will eventually dump him and he’ll find another piece of ass to throw money at. ---

MVP was supposed to be working our next indy show here in April, but he announced today that he’ll have to miss it due to some various stuff. So in his place, the promotion has booked… **Tommy Dreamer!** Washington Hall is about to get a lot more extreme. ---

Tommy Dreamer is also appearing in [LU season 4](http://socaluncensored.com/2018/02/24/lucha-underground-news-notes-02-24-2018/). The actor who played Dario Cueto is now playing his father, Antonio Cueto. Dario was shot by rogue FBI agent Winter last ep of season 3, so I guess he’s “dead.” I’m sure he’ll find a way around it. [Sonny Kiss](http://www.indywrestlinglife.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/IMG_1154-300x300.png) made an appearance, whom I suppose is another Exotico along the lines of Pimpernella. ---

Overall, I feel… indifferent. The best part was Alexa Bliss faking the “follow your dreams” speech. Otherwise, the chamber is a big thing that gets in the way. Braun could have at least destroyed some plexiglass. He looked unstoppable until Roman \ Reigns did his 2 moves of doom. Wyatt vs Hardy was eh. Could have been much more, like Broken Hardyz vs Decay in TNA. The other matches were also booked with the mentality that they can’t distract the audience from the EC matches and the Rousey signing. I’m not looking forward to her match at WM, because it means 2 months of Stephanie screaming. ---

I thought the Alexa thing was pretty good and pretty genuine, then of course she had to go full heel and turn the audience on her fingertip. People may complain about her wrestling (personally, I don’t see the problem), but you can’t deny that she has IT. Main event was way too predictable. Yeah, we know. Reigns again. :rolleyes: Also didn’t like the how it kept getting to one man standing over the others and then just looking around. The commentary team kept mentioning it and it kept happening. Although I did think it was funny when they all went silent for a moment and then Cole(?) yelled something which was obviously fed into his earpiece, just as things started happening again. Vince or someone else in the back got upset about the silence, I guess. Maybe if the match wasn’t booked for all those awkward pauses while everyone lies around selling, that wouldn’t have happened. ---

I would not be one bit surprised if the WWE “search police” is looking for stuffed horses of any sort at all events now. Assuming it’s Trips & Steph vs. Hot Rond and Mystery Partner, I wonder how long they’ll drag out who it’s going to be. I wouldn’t be surprised if they keep it going until the match itself - “It’s Cena!” (hard to do if he’s in another match that night, but if they leave him out entirely to tease that it’s him, then his fans aren’t going to be happy that he wasn’t in WM) “It’s The Rock!” “It’s The Undertaker!” (somebody else you can “give the night off” to, for the tease) “It’s the return of Daniel Bryan!” “It’s Shane-O-Mac!” Then Rousey announces: “No, it’s just some guy I met over at UFC” - and CM Punk shows up. ---

I mean, we all know it’s just going to be Angle don’t we with Rousey? Stayed up for everything that wasn’t the men’s Chamber match last night and I was reasonably entertained. The women’s chamber was pretty good and Alexa definitely had me fooled with her promo. Good for her. The rest was like the rest of WWE’s product…entertaining enough but nothing spectacular. ---

What a bore. I would be critical of the women’s Chamber match but then I saw the men’s version. Tons of great athletic talent and Miz but none of them really know how to work a match. No surprise since the audience doesn’t care, just have four guys sit on their knees drooling while Miz works up his dumb kicking so the audience can scream and yell. Hell, if I owned the WWE I don’t see why I’d put any more effort into it either if the audience will keep paying for this. Rousey sucks. She’s no wrestler. She’ll armbar Oscar and Stephanie for some big events, and then we’ll see one 90 second match after another where she wins with an armbar. I hope she’s not doing this for the adoration cuz it won’t be there by the time she’s done. ---

Well, Rousey is certainly a mainstream attention play and a risk for them. If they have her wrestling every week on house shows, or locked in the Performance Center until Wrestlemania, neither would surprise me. Everyone is holding their breath to see if she can wrestle and make a living at this, because so far we haven’t seen good promos or acting out of her. Gotta be a lot of pressure on her, but I guess I don’t really care much one way or the other if she works out. As long as she’s not billed as an unstoppable badass who blows through everyone including Charlotte, Nia and Asuka while being visibly green as grass. ---

WWE was wanting to capitalize on Rousey’s “toughest woman in the world” rep until she started getting her ass kicked, then she lost her luster. Now they still think she can be a mainstream draw for some reason. The only mainstream celebrity who put on a passable wrestling event was the Arrow guy, but then again we were also subjected to Dennis Rodman, Jay Leno, the guy from _Friends_, Snoop Dog, et al. I wonder if Vince ever considered Stephen Hawking? ---

Floyd Mayweather did some decent work at the Mania against Big Slow. Floyd did work it like a pro and it was one of Show’s better performances. Mike Tyson’s involvement in a Mania match wasn’t awful but just a pretty predictable gimmick that kind of ruined an otherwise good match. Not that I like the celebrity wrestler concept in general though. There are football players that have transitioned to wrestling well in the past, and now there are MMA fighters available, but the only MMA fighters with enough name recognition to really count as celebrities that will venture into the sportsertainment industry now have already lost their MMA cred like Brock and Rousey. Even guys like Severn and Shamrock who came in for the money were career stalled in the early MMA world. Rousey could learn to wrestle, I mean she does know how to wrestle for real, but she’s nowhere near ready to perform, and working directly with Stephanie is not going to help. Stephanie apparently believes the ass lickers in Stamford that tell her how good she’s doing. Even the guys who had their noses up Vince’s ass would let him know how he went over in the ring but nobody ever tells the truth to Steph. And speaking of Steph, I gotta assume that Reigns is even better at sucking her dick than HHH is for him to still be getting pushed. Oh yeah, also, wasn’t that something when HHH tapped Angle on the shoulder and Angle fell down? Nothing worthwhile is going to come of this. ---

It’s just that I don’t think of him as a _Friends_ guy (there are only 3 of those). He was just peripherally related, though in all likelihood he appeared in the show at some point.
