Braun Strowman is going for the tag titles at WM. Sure, why not? He literally breaks the fourth wall, and the way they’ve been making him superhuman has led to some of their best bits. That’s what they did with Big Show to a lesser degree, like when he picked up a car and dropped it on Eddie Guerrero. Or, perhaps more silly than awesome, he came back from death when his monster truck ran off the top of a building while trying to run over Hulk Hogan. (that was during the Eric Bischoff sucks Hogan’s cock era in WCW) Yay! Senior Benjamin, Reba, Max and the Drone are back! I hope Bray brings some weirdo sidekicks of his own when he goes through Ultimate Deletion. Jeremy Borash is directing this like he did Delete vs Decay. I’m hoping WWE doesn’t polish it up too much. Part of the reason why the TNA Hardy Compound battles were so funny is because they were so cheaply done, like cheesy B movies. I’m predicting Bray will get plunged into the Lake of Reincarnation and come out as Huskie Harris. Or maybe he’ll get stampeded by miniature horses. I’ve got to hand it to Vince, he knows how to play on the real life enmity of Brock Lesnar, kayfabe admitting he does get special privileges. ---

Super Crazy is Super Old and still trying to be crazy but he’s slowed down more than a few steps. Shane Douglas needs a lot more time on an exercise bike and moves like I will when I’m 85. The Sandman is a shell of his former self, and he was not much more than a shell back then. Mick Foley is on his 3rd hip, I think. Last time he showed up (he lives 10 minutes from where they run the shows, EC3 had to sell like mad that he was running from ol’ Cactus Jack because CJ couldn’t move. Li’l Guido, however, could kick the sh\*t out of anyone who gets in his way. Lots of others, if still alive, need canes just to make the short walk from the locker room to the ring. I loved the old _Madhouse of Extreme_ shows at the Elk’s Lodge in Queens (walking distance from my apartment at the time), but that style took its toll on too many wrestlers. Younger wrestlers would be advised to pay attention to what happened to the majority wrestling extreme style, not to the Tommy Dreamers. ---

Cena pretty much called UT an entitled coward, and asked the audience “How many of you wanna see the Undertaker put me in a tombstone piledriver?” It’s pretty obvious he’s handing UT a post-retirement victory. UT did not emerge, nor did they mention him in “Next week on RAW” promos, so I guess it’ll be a couple weeks until he steps from the shadows. ---

I’d love to see Dwayne’s deadpan smile and side eye at Cena thinking he wants to follow his footsteps into movies. The guy who made part of his career on holding that sort of thing against him. Yeah, I don’t know. I haven’t really seen Cena in any movies. The ones he does just aren’t my style. Let me know when he appears in a scifi or action movie. I just can’t picture him in a Furious # movie. He’d seem oddly out of place to me. Ok, some of that is because I can’t picture him not wearing his jorts. That may be my problem. ---

Jesus Christ. You can pick up a pair of nosebleed seats for Wrestlemania for about $35 each right now. On Stubhub, where prices are jacked and your wallet lighter. Field A, Row 1, 1-2 tickets for $10k each. They were a lot more than that for Fast Lane. ---

As someone who was just at Wrestlemania a year ago, I can tell you that it’s simply exhausting. We left early to get parking/get to the stadium to walk around/see merch/see preshow matches/etc. and by the time the show was over and we got home 12 hours had passed. That includes: Travel, pre-show matches (Bye Neville), Mania itself, Undertaker’s hour-long exit, chilling in the stadium for a half hour to let the crowds die out and then finally driving home. I don’t regret it for a second and it’s a world of difference when it’s in your backyard, but I am very much looking forward to just sitting at home and watching it ---

There’s been some noise about Hulk Hogan returning to WWE, possibly even at the upcoming WrestleMania. Or possibly inducting Hillbilly Jim into the HOF. I wonder if this Moolah uproar would make Vince rethink any such plans (if they ever existed). ---

I still say (tongue firmly in cheek) _ **The Bayley Invitational Battle Royal** _ Then you’ve got perfect story line setups for her showing up on NXT this time of year to invite NXT wrestlers, women from the other show and even from the indies. Or to specifically NOT invite someone. 😉 Why Bayley? I dunno, why not? Hell, make the trophy look like one of those big inflatable wavy arms things. 😛 Or better yet, make it a base with a small motor and an actual, 2 or 3’ tall inflatable wavy thing. ---
