I has a man crush on [Vibor](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/C_-rHwdVwAAfYLD.jpg)a aka Luchasaurus. He’s 9 feet tall, wears a cool looking snake mask, and is like a cross between Jake the Snake Roberts and the Undertaker. He’s limber and not stiff like the big guys tend to be. He can do the lucha flippadyflips, but only does such moves when it’s most surprising. He does the Undertakery throat grab, but he makes it look like a python strike. He slithers across the mat like Jake the Snake, and does the rock star hair toss for extra dramatic flair. In real life, he has a master’s degree in Medieval Literature. _Whaaa?_ He took on Johnny Mundo in last night’s LU episode. Johnny had the Worldwide Underground to help him cheat, but Luchasaurus had his fellow ophidians from the Reptile Tribe counter their diabolical schemes. Dagaaaaaa! and Drago and Kobra Moon duked it out with PJ Black, Ricky Mundo and Taya, allowing V to score the pin on Mundo. He used to be in NXT, just after they switched from FCW. Maybe they’ll bring him back after seeing what he does in LU. ---

I saw Luchasaurus at a local indie. I know 9 feet is an exagerration, but he’s maybe 6’2" or 6’3" - taller than me but not significantly. He has strong upside with more experience. Mundo can make him look better than he is. Also, Cage is a couple of inches shorter than me (I’m 6’ even) and Mack is about my height, just to help with some perspective. He’s wrestling locally tonight, along with Mundo/Hennigan and a few other LU wrestlers, but I can’t attend. ☹ ---

His wiki says he’s 6’ 5" and weighs 233, so I guess the camera adds a few pounds and inches. I know Mundo can make a broom look like a 5-star opponent, but Luchasaurus was doing fine on his own. I’ll probably get sick of him like I did Bray Wyatt, but what the hey. Cage’s chest fills the wide screen, his mohawk makes him look taller than actual, and most of his LU opponents are smallish, so he looks gigantic. Kind of makes me wish I could get Pop TV again, but there’s enough clips of Impact on YouTube to satisfy me, like his F5 on Kongo Kong. ---

We had a taste of Brian Cage before Impact boarded up and headed north. I can tell you he is just insanely large in person. If you make Bobby Lashley look normal, then you know something is up. Just heard that Jake the Snake is doing his one-man show here in September, about 99% sure I’m going to go. Didn’t someone here recently see his show? ---

And yeah, I am by no means a small guy, but Cage is wider than me, and in the good way, unlike me. Wiki also has HHH at 6’4" and that’s at least 2", maybe even 3" exaggerated. And I’ve no problems with Luchasaurus. He’s got good upside. It was just that against other talent at his level of experience, he was good, not great. Willie Mack, who was kinda phoning it in that night (as was one of his opponents, Cage, with Sami Callahan being the workhorse of the three-way match), was much smoother in the ring. ---

I can get down with an all-women’s PPV. A bunch of title matches and a rumble should be a lot of fun. Hopefully they have some cool stipulations in there like hardcore matches and the like. ---

There aren’t enough woman who can wrestle to fill a whole show. The announcers will be struggling to turn those matches into something interesting. ---

Maybe it won’t be one of those overlong PPVs? I know…wishful thinking. Still, 8-10 matches, you only need ~2 dozen wrestlers and the leftovers can be in a battle royal. I bet NXT will be included. I think they can fill a show, and they can give each match time to develop. ---

Are you kidding me with Roman Reigns vs. Lesnar again at SummerSlam? I hope Lesnar destroys Reigns in about 30 seconds and then Strowman comes down the ramp to cash in his MitB. ---

Does anyone really want to see either Reigns or Lesnar? At least Lesnar has the decency not to bore us with his lame matches. Just for the record, GLOW once did a PPV so the WWE all women’s PPV isn’t the first. ---

There are plenty of women on the roster who can fill a whole show. Even the ones who don’t get used enough (Alicia Fox) have way more talent than are given credit for. That’s a main reason why I said I hope there are stips. I know that these women are good enough to do a ladder/cage/hardcore match. Hell the three-way matches between Asuka, Nikki Cross and Ember back in NXT were physical assaults. (Bolding Mine) You misspelled Reigns. Brock’s matches are rote and boring because he doesn’t even care anymore. The only reason people don’t like Reigns is because it’s not cool to like him. I don’t even care that most people disagree with me and give me “valid” reasons. The dude looks great, he sells just fine, he’s willing to work with anyone and wrestles in good matches. I understand his limitations. He’s not very good on the mic and his offensive moveset isn’t very wide. But the same could be said about a ton of different wrestlers and they were perfectly popular. Put the belt on Reigns and get the title back on TV. Put the belt on Reigns and finally get the stupid whiny internet smarks to quit watching/attending and let me watch wrestling in peace. ---

a while back I watched the GLOW documentary on Netflix and was surprised that ivory was Tina Ferrari back in the day and it started a debate about how much longer it would of lasted …my friend said it could still be around if it had adapted in the 90s like wwe did and I said it wouldn’t of lasted because the novelty factor was wearing off and it wouldn’t of fit the attitude/hardcore era in fact if I remember right one of the casinos in Laughlin bought the glow left overs as the “lpwa” and had a prime ticket tv contract and didn’t last 6 months… ---

I remember watching GLOW back in the day, and it was definitely off the beaten path. Some of their girls were talented in the ring, while others weren’t so good, but really killed on promos. They had the Lybian Terrorist, who was probably the top heel at the time. They had a couple of sassy narcissist heel chicks who kept looking at themselves with hand mirrors, and would use them as weapons on occasion. They had the Lady Patriot, who was based on Lynda Carter’s Wonder Woman, and a horror movie chick who looked like something from the Addams Family. I remember one commenting team had a guy who spoke with a prissy British accent. There was a large woman named Queen Kong in the ring, and the other commentator remarked on how fat she was. The prissy British guy said “Yes, she has more chins than the Hong Kong phone book!” I think it ran into one of those situations where it drew a small but devoted audience, but was too expensive to justify keeping on the air. Still, it was fun while it lasted. ---

Tommaso Ciampa is now Tommaso Champion. Ciampa takes the heel role so seriously, he won’t consent to marketing his brand on T-shirts or other merchandise. He doesn’t want anyone to have a reason to like him. Sometimes I wish NXT would declare independence.
