Any Zombie stories where head shots don't kill?

Linnea Quigley, and she’s technically err… “mostly” nekid.

Said her worst experience with special FX makeup was during The Return of the Living Dead (1985), in which she had to endure several experimental makeup tests and wear a “featureless Barbie-doll prosthetic” over her crotch because a producer felt that full-frontal nudity was too shocking.

The somewhat-intelligent (and coherent) zombies in that movie do make them rather more dangerous: “Send more paramedics…”

Linnea Quiggley. She wasn’t nude through the whole thing if I recall correctly. She gets killed early on. But the nude dance scene…yeah, she was packin’ back then.

I love Green already got/read all of his stuff. In fact now you remind me i could definitely read Blue Moon Rising for the nth time.
I’ll check out Cook. I’ve read and enjoyed his Black Company books.

Incidentally to hijack my own thread if you like the whole Black Company style gritty fantasy genre. I’m about halfway through **Richard Morgans ** new book The Steel Remains and it is awesome. It’s David Gemmel turned up to 11.

I think I’ve only seen that one, in that particular series, though I understand the Sci Fi channel movies of the same naming convention are just TERRIBLE.

I’ll just add another voice to confirm that, yes, they suck. Quite badly. I mean, they’d be bad enough if they were stand-alone zombie films, but as sequels to two great (and one servicable if less than great) classic zombie movies? A travesty.
