# Anybody else feeling a bit hostile?

hostile? nah … same normal _“reticent”_ for myself. as for what i have noticed in others … nothing invasive/assertive really. ummm … usa here.

I’ve seen the same number or maybe even a greater number of reckless drivers of all sorts. I’m not sure if it’s because people are on edge, or because the people who like to drive dangerously also are more likely to remain on the road.

I am distracted.
I am working from home, so now I have Teams, Skype, email and a different office environment.
Yesterday my neighbor buzzed my door, which interrupted a Teams call. I tried to deal with both, and now my neighbor is going to come back at some time, for some reason, and I don’t know why. This is in addition to work at home stuff.
I have to do something for lunch each day, instead of choosing company canteen or one of several restaurants. This means a lot more time in the kitchen, prepping, cooking and then cleaning up.
They there’s the shopping. With the OTHER people. According to google, the grocery store is much busier than usual. Why? The only time it’s not busier than usual is 7:30 in the morning.
Hostile? Not much. Just scatter-brained. I need a new structure, but that takes time. Which I think I will have.

Out and about, I’ve noticed people reacting with impatience. I attribute it to an aversion to conversation and an urge to return home ASAP.

Of course, by “instant gratification” we normally meant things like the latest model iPhone or a cruise to South America.
Never in my darkest freams did I think it would also include things like toilet paper.
