Security at FLL was very quick. No line, TSA was friendly and everything’s normal. Does seem like less people are travelling than usual though. When I checked in online, I was 4 of 6 in line for an upgrade, and there was only 1 first class seat available. Then when I got to the airport today, I had been upgraded. I wonder if some people ended up changing flights at the last minute today. ---

I flew from Toronto to Calgary today, and I got to the airport insanely early anticipating loads of security. There seemed to be a lot of Police/RCMP vehicles all over the place, but the terminal was virtually empty. Since I got there so early, I was able to re-book myself on an earlier (and better, direct) flight with no problems. So, my 9/11/11 flying experience was getting home 4 hours earlier than I had originally planned.
