# Anybody else found themselves disappointed by the gender of some poor innocent fetus?

I was about 90% sure that Thing 1 was a boy, and absolutely 100% positive that Thing 2 was. Even when we found out they were girls, I thought the scans might be wrong.

Right up until I saw each of the babies. And then it was instantly and utterly obvious that of \*course \*they were themselves, they could never have been boys, they were always going to be exactly who they are. Within about two minutes I could barely believe - even though I know it’s true - that I’d ever pictured them any differently.

Also, Atticus is a rocking middle name.
