I love driving. Stop-and-go commuting in the big cities, no. But an open road, some coffee, and some good tunes, and I’m happy.

I do, when the setting is right. Sadly, this is almost never the case. I have a 2005 Honda CRV, (booyah, lol).

I love cruising at a steady speed, about 72 in my Camry, with the music loud and the moon roof open, smelling the air and feeling how easily my car handles the road. It’s relaxing and engaging at the same time. I sometimes miss flying down the road in my Ranger truck with the windows down (no A/C) blaring the tunes, but I much prefer the comfort of my semi-luxury to the wild and wooly truck of my youth. I do almost all of the driving when TheElf and I go places, he gets very tense while driving.

Yes.
The canyon roads near my new home in Colorado were designed for german engineering.
Ok they were really designed so mules could bring gold into denver more efficiently…but still, my car is german engineering and it tells me it really likes the roads.

Another fan of driving here. My ultimate road trip is to just get in the van and drive wherever.
