# Anybody Else Not Receiving E-mail Notification?

I’ve noticed that a few threads I’m subscribed to have been getting responses, and I haven’t been getting e-mails. Is it just me?

When the server is too busy, it starts dropping tasks. One of the first tasks it drops is email. Every time we increase our server capacity, the demand quickly grows to fill the new capacity.

I wish I could fix this for you, but I can’t.

To me, this was one of the risks of going to a paid subscription:

I’m willing to tolerate much more unreliability in something that’s free.
